THE SPEAKING OF POETRY is a three-hour workshop exploring the craft of speaking poetry aloud. Because a poem doesn't come truly alive until it's spoken.

Do you feel expressive when you speak? If you write poetry, enjoy reading poetry or simply desire more expressiveness in your life - this is for you!

We begin with questions - does speaking feel pleasurable and satisfying? How do we release habitual constraints on our voices? Then we dive into text - your own poems, or old favorites.
